The short answer
EverXCloud is an alternative to Lambda if you want hourly GPU rental at a market price, with the option to bid. Lambda is a GPU cloud that sells instances, multi-week clusters and reserved capacity at listed rates.
How Lambda is organized
As of October 2026, Lambda's pricing page lists self-serve Instances with first-come access to GPUs such as B200, H100, A100 and GH200, 1-Click Clusters of 16 to more than 2,000 B200 or H100 GPUs on terms from 2 weeks to 1 year, and Superclusters.
Rates are listed per GPU per hour, plus applicable sales tax, VAT or GST, and reserved capacity is arranged through sales. Check the current page for prices and conditions.
How EverXCloud works
EverXCloud is a spot exchange for GPU rental hours. You buy at the best live offer, or you place a bid at the price you are willing to pay and are matched when an offer meets it.
EverXCloud Inc., a Delaware corporation, is the merchant of record for every rental, whether the machine is its own, in a partner data center or with another provider. Prices are shown per GPU-hour, excluding tax, and accounts are prepaid: there is no post-paid billing.
You manage rentals from the web portal or the REST API, with scoped API keys and signed webhooks. The site and portal are available in English, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese, and the Service Level Agreement sets a monthly availability commitment.
EverXCloud is in pre-launch: offers and prices shown today are indicative and become rentable on launch day.
When Lambda is a better fit
Choose Lambda if you need a large dedicated cluster of B200 or H100 GPUs for several weeks or months, or a long-term reserved contract today.
Lambda is also available now, while EverXCloud is in pre-launch.
How to compare before you choose
Compare the same GPU model, memory size and form factor (SXM or PCIe), in the same region, with the same storage. A headline hourly rate rarely describes the whole session cost.
Run your own workload on each candidate and record runtime, total cost and failed requests. A benchmark of your model is more reliable than any specification table or third-party comparison.
