H100 price per hour: what sets the rate

What an NVIDIA H100 costs per hour to rent, why SXM and PCIe rates differ, and how to read a live H100 price on EverXCloud.

Guide4 sections2 min read

The short answer

An H100 is priced per GPU-hour, and the rate depends on the form factor, the region, the commitment and the moment. On EverXCloud the live rate is the best offer on the exchange, shown excluding tax on each H100 page.

Open the H100 SXM 80GB, H100 PCIe 80GB or H100 NVL 94GB page to see the current price next to the full specifications.

SXM, PCIe and NVL are different products

The H100 SXM uses HBM3 memory and NVLink for fast multi-GPU training; the H100 PCIe fits standard servers with lower bandwidth and power. The H100 NVL pairs boards for large-model inference. Their prices are not interchangeable.

Compare the same variant across offers. The H100 SXM vs H100 PCIe comparison shows memory, bandwidth and throughput side by side.

What moves the hourly rate

On an exchange, the rate moves with supply and demand: more H100 offers lower the best price, and more demand raises it. Region, GPU count per machine, storage and network included in the configuration also change the price of an offer.

Commitment matters elsewhere in the market: reserved contracts usually trade flexibility for a lower rate. EverXCloud rents by the hour, prepaid, without a long-term contract.

Pay the price you choose

If the current H100 offer is above your budget, place a bid at the price you are willing to pay. The bid is matched when an offer meets it.

During pre-launch, H100 prices shown on EverXCloud are indicative and become rentable on launch day.
