How to estimate a GPU rental session

Understand hourly prices, billable resources and the difference between a wallet top-up and compute consumption.

Guide4 sections2 min read

Read the complete offer

Check whether the displayed price covers one GPU or the full configuration. Read the currency, GPU count, rental duration and applicable conditions before comparing offers.

Use the current checkout and offer details for taxes and separately billed resources. A headline hourly price does not describe every possible session cost.

Build a simple estimate

Illustrative example, not an EverXCloud offer: a configuration priced at 2 currency units per hour used for 3 hours has a compute subtotal of 6 units, before taxes and any additional charges.

Add preparation time, model downloads, storage and other applicable costs. Use the billing granularity and resource conditions shown for the actual rental.

Distinguish funding from consumption

Adding funds increases a prepaid balance. It is different from consuming compute. Review the wallet balance, rental consumption and invoices as separate records.

Check the currency of each wallet and offer. Do not assume that balances in different currencies can be combined or automatically converted.

Avoid costs after the job finishes

The end of a script does not necessarily release the rented instance. Review the instance state and stop or terminate it as supported by the provider and rental conditions.

Persistent volumes can remain after an instance ends. Keep them only when needed and check their separate billing conditions.

Estimate a session subtotal

The default values are an illustrative example, not an EverXCloud offer. Enter the rate for the complete configuration and use the same currency for every amount.

Estimated subtotal: 6 currency units

Formula: hourly configuration rate × billable hours + other known charges. Apply the offer's billing granularity to the duration yourself. Taxes and any charges you have not entered are excluded. This is an estimate, not a quote or invoice.
