What is Order book and limit order?
An order book lists the live offers (sell prices) and bids (buy prices) for a GPU configuration. A limit order, or bid, is your instruction to rent at a maximum price per GPU-hour; it is matched when an offer meets it.
Why it matters when renting a GPU
Taking the best offer starts a rental now at the current price; a limit bid can lower your cost if you can wait.
On EverXCloud, every match is sold by EverXCloud Inc. as merchant of record, and accounts are prepaid.
Worked example
If the best offer is 2.40 and you bid 2.10 per GPU-hour (illustrative units, not an EverXCloud price), a match on a 100 GPU-hour job saves 100 × 0.30 = 30 units, before tax.
